This is the last will and testament of me John Edward Ty Mawr Dolwar in the parish of Llanfihangel in the County of Montgomery farmer.
I give and bequeath all my estate of whatsoever description unto my wife Margaret for her own use absolutely on condition that she is to pay as soon after my decease as conveniently may be a legacy of fifty pounds unto my nephew John Lloyd Jones of Dolwar Fach in the parish of Llanfihangel also a legacy of fifty pounds unto my nephew Edward Edwards the son of my brother Henry.
And I appoint my said wife and the said John Lloyd Jones executors of this my will and revoke all previous wills made by me at any time heretofore made and declare this writing to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this tenth day of July 1914.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of Tymawr Dolanog Montgomeryshire widow.
I hereby appoint Charles Pryce Owen of High Street Llanfyllin and Edward Edwards of No 6 Linden Avenue Stockton on Tees to be Executors hereof and I give to each of them a legacy of six pounds each.
I give and bequeath to my brother William Jones of Dolanog Mill a legacy of twenty pounds or if he shall predecease me I give the same to his son John Jehu Jones.
I give to Mrs Ann Jones of Caenant House llanfyllin a legacy of Ten pounds in memory of her late Uncle John Edwards of Tymawr aforesaid.
I give all my personal clothing and household linen to my sister Mrs Anne Roberts of No 4 Victoria stree Shrewsbury or if she shall predecease me then I give the same to her daughter Mary Matilda Roberts subject to the foregoing bequests and to the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses.
I hereby direct my Executors to divide the residue of my Estate into three equal shares and to pay one share to my said sister Anne Roberts one share to John Jones of Dolwar Fach Dolanog and one share to the said Edward Edwards.
I direct that if either of the said residuary legatees shall die in my lifetime then the share of the legatee so dying shall be paid and divided equally among his or her children or if only one child then to such only child.
I hereby revoke all former Wils made by me.

DOLANOG

 

THE LATE MRS. EDWARDS.- The death of Mrs. Margaret Edwards, Tymawr, occurred on July 2nd in her 75th year. Her husband, Mr John Edwards, pre-deceased her ten years ago. After his death she continued to occupy the farm. Of late She had been in indifferent health, but the news of her death came rather unexpectedly. She was much respected by all who knew her in the neighbourhood, being of a kind and amiable disposition.

For many years she spent much of her time in London and in Birmingham with the Chamberlain families and others.

On her retirement from service she came to reside with her family at Dolanog Mill, from which she married Mr John Edwards. She is survived by one sister and a number of nephews and a niece.

The funeral took place on Monday at Llanfihangel burial ground.

The service at the house and graveside were taken by the Rev. D. Arthur Morgan, Meifod, assisted by Canon Roberts, R.D.

The bearers were Messrs. C.R. Davies, Dolwar Hall, Thos. J. Lewis Brynmawr, D.W. Davies, Tynycae and Ll.Price, Coedlios.

DOLANOG

 

WE REGRET to record the death of Mrs. Margaret Edwards, Tymawr, relict of the late Mr John Edwards who pre-deceased her about ten years ago.

The deceased had been in indifferent health for some time, but the news of her death came rather unexpectedly, as she was not bedridden.

She was in her 75th year and leaves sister and a number of nephews and a niece.

The deceased was of an amiable disposition, and much respected by all who knew her.

She had lived many years in London and also in Birmingham with one of the Chamberlain families.

On her retirement from service to Dolanog Mill, where she resided with her family, she married Mr J. Edwards and lived a happy life.

The funeral took place on Monday at Llanfihangel burial ground.

The service at the house and grave was taken by the Rev. D. Arthur Morgan, Meifod, assisted by Canon Roberts, R.D.

Messrs. C.R. Davies, Dolwar Hall; Ll.Price, Coedliss;Thomas. J. Lewis Brynmawr; and D.W. Davies, Tynycae, acted as bearers.
