"Deaths: Jones, John Jehu, 1 Tanyfoel, Llanymynech, Powis, passed away in the Orthapedic Hospital, Gobowen, on SaturdayAugust 26th 1989, aged 80 years.

Husband of the late Nellie Jones, much loved by all the family..."

 

Note on Funeral Order of Service [probably made by Blodwen Jones]:

 

"John Jehu Jones was the son of William Jones the Mill. He was the miller for many years. John Jehu was born at the Mill, and mother died at the birth."

 

Archie Roberts:

 

" The Jehu's of Llanfair Caereinion were first cousins, one of them being lecturer in Geology at St.Andrews."

 

[I'm not sure there was a connection with John Jehu, however.]
