Was a film projectionist in the infancy of the cinema, and worked at the Picture House in the middle of Rye Lane,Peckham.

She worked at F.W. Hoadly's bakery in Peckham at one stage (the restaurant) and it was here she met Charlie Friend.

In 1891, Charles, Lucy and their four children were living at 14 Cossall Street. [RG12/475/48]

At one time Florrie lived almost opposite 161 Gordon Road. Near Ellery Street. This was rented from Harriett Cooper, who eventually sold it.
