Text From Source: I was able to look through the Victorian Death Index and found Edith Helen Cooper died in 1955 aged 84 years. The registration number is 11358. The death place is abbreviated to SAND . From a web site that give the meanings of abbreviations for Victoria

http:/ /members.westnet.com.au/web/talltrees/resources/vic_abbr.htm

I found that SAND is an abbreviation for either Sandhurst or Sandridge. As you mentioned a photograph in Mildura, I think it is likely that the name is Sandhurst (which is the now part of the City of Ballarat). See this web site

http://www.bendigo.vic.gov.a u/index.asp?h=-1

Go to the A-Z Index and select Sandhurst Ward Profile and you will see that it is the centre of Bendigo – which is not far from Mildura which is on the Murray River. I can’t find any cemetery web site for the area however.

The names on the entry were abbreviated to Thomas Harv and Harriet Alesounder
Graham Hoadly.
