THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me LILY LAVERACK HOADLY of Pattenson House Folkestone Road Dover in the County of Kent Spinster. I hereby revoke all Wills Codicils and Testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. I appoint James Frederick Griffith of 4 Old Serjeants Inn in the City of London Solicitor and Eliza Koettlitz of 75 Folkestone Road aforesaid Spinster to be EXECUTORS and Trustees of this my Will. I bequeath the following legacies to my said Trustees and Executors the sum of twenty pounds each. I devise and bequeath all the real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever to which I may be entitled or over which I may have any disposing power at the time of my death unto my Trustees upon trust that the said Trustees or the survivor of them or other the trustees for the time being of this my Will shall sell call in and convert into money such parts of my said estate as do not consist of money except my jewellery which I give and bequeath unto my father Alexander Hoadly as I know he will dispose of the same in accordance with my known wishes respecting the same. And shall out of the net proceeds of such sale calling in and conversion together with such parts of my said estate as shall consist of money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the pecuniary legacies bequeathed by this my Will and any codicil hereto. And shall hold the residue of the proceeds of such sale and conversion and money upon the trusts hereinafter declared of the same that is to say upon trust at their his or her discretion to invest the same in the purchase of or at interest upon any stocks funds or securities which may for the time being be authorised by law for the investment of trust funds or of cash under the control of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice but not in any other form of investment. And may from time to time at such discretion as aforesaid vary alter and transpose all or any of the stocks funds shares and securities into or for other stocks funds shares or securities of the same or a like nature and shall stand possessed of the annual produce and income thereof upon the trusts for the purposes and with and subject to the powers and provisions hereinafter expressed concerning the same (that is to say) In trust to pay the same to my said father Alexander Hoadly during his life and from and after his decease in trust to pay the same to Fanny Hoadly the wife of the said Alexander Hoadly during her life. And from and after her decease in trust to pay the same to my sister Jessie the wife of Richard Trelease during her life but without power of anticipation and free from the control of the said Richard Trelease and from and after her decease in trust for my nephews and nieces the children of my sisters Ada the wife of Charles Kendall Phillipps and of the said Jessie Trelease absolutely in equal shares provided always and I further declare that any Trustees of this my Will being a solicitor may be so employed or act and shall be entitled to and be paid al usual or proper professional or other charges for any business or act done by him or his firm in the premises whether in the ordinary course of his profession or not and although not of a nature requiring the employment of a solicitor IN WITNESS Whereof I have to this and the preceding sheet of paper set my hand this 19th day of August One thousand eight hundred and ninety two - LILY LAVERACK HOADLY - Signed published and declared by the said Lily Laverack Hoadly the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the sight and presence of us both present at the same time who in her sight and presence at her request and in the sight and presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as attesting witnesses - SUSAN ADAMS TUCKER 75 Folkestone Road Dover Lady - MARY NURSE 75 Folkestone Road Dover Lady On the 1st day of May 1897 Probate of this Will was granted to James Frederick Griffith and Elise (in the Will called Eliza) Koettlitz spinster the Executors. |

HOADLY of Pattenson House Folkestone Road Dover in the County of Kent Spinster.
